Spring Season Underway for Bronco Volleyball – March 27, 2017
“Spring is a time when college sports that begin in the fall tune up for the upcoming season. Spring football is very well known in colleges across the country, with big intra-team scrimmages highlighting what’s to come the next season. One other fall sport that just so happens to have a spring season is volleyball.”

“Before the home opener for the Western Michigan University football team on Sept. 16, there was understandably a ton of hype surrounding the game. For one, it’d be the home debut of new head coach Tim Lester, and the first time home fans would see the new-look Broncos in action after two relatively close games against Power Five conference opponents.
However, one Bronco stole the show for some fans, and he didn’t play in the game.”

“The Meadows at Coolidge Place, just north of Three Rivers, Mich., in Lockport Township, is a small senior citizen community just outside of the city’s limits, with the average age of its residents in the mid-70s.
When driving around the area, the traffic from nearby Main Street can barely be heard. Instead, the drizzle of rain, the chirping of birds, or the deer running around in the nearby field can be heard quite clearly.
It is a quiet community, but one that has made noise about a controversial land project.”
